What kind of response is "Try reading the Bible. It's all in there." to a question that I ask regarding God? - what does the bible say about seeking guidance
I ask this because:
A) This answer means that I have not read the Bible, or that I do not only have a very good job. So when I read the Bible and I have a question, I will not ask for other advice?
B) If you do not understand what I read that just make me stupid? Is the Bible in a simple manner, with all its images and metaphors to understand that no one more clearly?
C) As a teacher I'm just saying a student "Try to read the book. The answer is there. In response to a question about the readings / topic? (And if you have children, what would you do if I just say it?)
D) If all the answers about God in the Bible, why is there such a person as a theologian? Are not they pretty useless if we all find the answers for us?
Sorry if this seems to be complaining. I just found out that these answers are not really answers at all, or if they are offered to help very little.

Well, if you have a Bible handy. Acts 8:30,31 speaks of an Ethiopian eunuch, the reading of Sacred Scripture. Philip asked if he knew what he was reading, and the man replied: "Really, how could I, unless someone guides me?" So, you're right. If someone said, reading the Bible, is a kind of lame response. Says I do not know where, but surely that is half the time in which he is not.
I believe that James 2:15 ET 16 is clearly applicable principle in this situation:
"If a brother or sister is naked and in a state without enough food for the day, but some will say," Go in peace, keep warm and well fed, but not considering the needs of [his] body, what good is it? "
Do you have the full answer, or simply set a game?
I think we now have all these good people, an opinion, without bringing all the information expressed.

It's a lousy answer! It is completely avoids answering the question you have. If you ask me, I will give my reply, and judiciously, with the support of the biblical passages where necessary.
